Thank you very much for your appreciation. Hope everything is doing well with you. I have send your masage to the Boards of we-press. We are very sorry, the website still in Indonesian version, and about the profile in the page of "Tentang Kami" (About Us).
Actualy, we have a plan to change the domain with a .coop in the future.
As I was one founders of the we-press worker's co-op, I would like to give you a little information about the we-press : We-press's founders are still students of the university (except me), and they are come from a former leader of student university press, studies club on ; postmodernism, theology, gender, social justice in the culture studies perspective. They are very active youth in the multidisipliner. And we-press has three adviser : Ted Meinhover, a former of Asian American Press's Editor and Asisten Project Manager of NCBA for International Development, Imam Cahyono, as a national newspapers coloumnist and an activist of NGO (The Prakarsa), and me as a director of Institute For Co-op Study and Development (LePPeK).
We have many of plan project till the end of the year, developing an online media (www.we-press.com), setting up reguler training and education on co-op, writing and journalism for the members, reguler discusion on the thematic issues, publishing journal and the books etc.
Now, we has setting up the curriculum and management of education and training. And we hope we could made open recruitment of the co-op members in the next month. We have one vision, ; how to make all the people without discrimination to become a juornalist (citizen journalist).

This looks like an outstanding new development. Well done to everyone involved. There is a great synergy and potential for cooperatives in the internet age. It amazes me that as a movement we have not made more of this opportunity. I would like to develop a case study on we-press.com (do you plan to use a .coop domain name?). Would you be able to provide further details about the new co-op and its development?

Writing and Empowering Press abbreviated WE-Press. In the Indonesian language name that means "Writing and Empowering" that take the form of publication or of the press. By connecting the word "empowerment" with "writing" imply a meaning that the institution is not a "writing". Thus, the "write" only one of the empowerment process. We-press born in sept,9, 2008.
